Suzuki Every: The Locally Assembled Mini MPV Set for Pakistan’s Roads

After years of anticipation, the wait for Suzuki Every is finally over, with the Pakistan Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) announcing the official launch date for its locally assembled version. The much-awaited mini MPV, known for its functionality and compact design, will hit the Pakistani market on October 12, 2024.

The decision to introduce a locally assembled version follows PSMC’s plan to replace the outdated Bolan, offering a more modern and refined alternative for Pakistani consumers. This marks a significant milestone in Suzuki’s local manufacturing operations and is expected to make a strong impact in the commercial vehicle segment.

International Specs and Design

While detailed specifications for the CKD (Completely Knocked Down) version remain undisclosed, the international model offers a clear sense of what the Pakistani market can expect. The Suzuki Every maintains its distinctive boxy shape, a high roof, and small wheels, providing ample interior space while ensuring ease of maneuverability in urban environments.

The vehicle’s aesthetic is a notable departure from the Bolan, with a more contemporary look and sturdier exterior. Its modern dashboard and interior also reflect a shift towards a more user-friendly, aesthetically pleasing cabin, a significant upgrade for buyers accustomed to older models like the Bolan.

Engine & Performance

In terms of performance, the Suzuki Every isn’t about raw power, but practicality. The 660cc engine, typical of many Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) cars, generates 49 horsepower and 62 Nm of torque. It’s designed for city driving and light-duty tasks, making it ideal for short commutes, school runs, and light cargo transport. Features like climate control, ABS, and power steering are expected in the international model, but the specifics of the locally assembled version are yet to be revealed.

With the upcoming launch, the Suzuki Every is poised to become a go-to vehicle for businesses and families looking for a reliable, compact van. Its introduction will certainly add diversity to the local automobile landscape, providing a fresh option that combines functionality with modern design.
